THE RESTAURANT
AMANZOE
GREECE

If you happen to be on that side of the Peloponnese and you want to treat yourself to a serene, indulging meal or you want to impress your other half with a super romantic and intimate dinner, there is no better place than The Restaurant at Amanzoe.

Located in Kranidi, nestled peacefully among ancient olive groves, golden grass and stunning sunset views of the Argolic gulf, Amanzoe’s restaurant is where intimacy meets grandeur, where the sea meets the sky and where slow living meets quiet luxury.

As soon as I stepped in, I felt the perfect balance that dominates this place. The four elements - fire, air, water and earth - mingle in the space and create a harmony that calms all your senses.

I was instantly transported to a different state of mind…a different world…a world where the gentle sunset hues leave you speechless and where cicadas make trees sing.

Tables, thoroughly placed in the space, guarantee privacy. Something extremely sought-after in every Aman property and much appreciated if you are on a date night. It did feel a bit like a private dinner or semi-private, to be more precise.

And then there was food! Obviously Amanzoe is not the most cost-efficient option in the region. But if you turn a blind eye to that, the impeccable service and the high-quality ingredients set the foundations for a great dining experience.

Always respecting Greek cuisine, regional producers and suppliers, The restaurant at Amanzoe offers a variety of classic Greek dishes but in an elevated form, while cocktails complete all this in the most spoiling way.

Favourite dishes? Santorini tomatoes with pickled onion and Feta cheese from Traxeia village, prawns from Koilada village and lobster giouvetsi. All surprisingly yummy, crispy, juicy and colourful – exactly what Greek summer tastes like!
